Full-Day Courses
We have four types of full-day training courses; Choice and Control in Hoarding Behaviour, Motivational Interviewing for Hoarding Behaviour, Cognitive Behavioural Treatment, Support and Systemic Models, Recovery College Model and Support Group Development Programme.
Half-Day Courses
We offer four types of half-day training courses designed to help you understand hoarding disorder and includes our practical positive engagement techniques.
We also offer discounts if you would like two half-day training sessions in one day (AM/PM).
Individual Courses
Our programmes are designed to be an educational, interactive and empowering in a way that works to positively impact participants’ active client work and improve outcomes for people who hoard as well as the professionals and others who engage with them.
Group
Courses
We have a Recovery College Model that is useful for people affected by hoarding behaviours as well as professionals.
We also run a Support Group Development Programme which takes place once a month for six months. This course includes all the aspects of two-day training.

Our Experts
Aim
All of our training is designed to be an educational, interactive and empowering working to positively impact participant’s active client work and improve outcomes for people who hoard as well as the professionals and others who engage with them.
Target Audience
Our courses are largely designed for professionals who work with people who hoard. Practitioners are encouraged bring their current hoarding related work to sessions which ensures the day is integrated into practice. Our Recovery College and Support Group development training engage people with hoarding behaviour.

Julie Wilson (Housing Related Training) – Trainer HoardingUK. Julie led Hoarding Awareness Week on behalf of Pan London Hoarding Taskforce (PLHT). Julie has worked directly with people with hoarding behaviour, provided training for internal staff/contractors at Optivo (formerly Amicus Horizon) for several years, and led on creating Optivo’s hoarding procedure. Julie has presented at Housemark’s Tenancy Sustainability and Anti-social Behaviour Clubs as well as to Fire And Rescue Services.
