HUK Newsletter July 2022

Thank You To Our Wonderful Volunteers – We couldn’t do it without you

So much has happened recently! We had Pride Month 🌈 London Climate Action Week and Volunteer week all to be celebrated.

Our superstar volunteers give their time and expertise to further our cause and we want to take this opportunity to say a huge Thank You to them.

You can meet our volunteers in our brand new Spotlight on Volunteering series which we will be publishing monthly to give them a bit of well-deserved recognition and a bit of insight for anyone considering joining us.

First up is our wonderful Advocacy Volunteer, Anna, who you can read about here.

Megan’s 500 Milestone Strut

In our fifteenth year, HoardingUK has helped people who hoard to help themselves and supported those helping them to help them better!  In this milestone year, our Founder/Chair is walking over one million steps to raise funds for this important cause which impacts up to three million people in the UK.

LFB Focus Group

Following our involvement in the LFB Community Engagement Steering Committee, we are co-hosting a focus group, specifically for people with hoarding behaviour.

Get involved here so you can have your say on your feelings for the LFB, hear about their plans for the future and help shape the Community Risk Management Plan (CRMP) for the coming years.
