What We’ve Been Up To
Community Engagement in the London Fire Brigade
The LFB are developing Community Engagement Forums throughout Central London to ensure that under-representative communities are heard and form part of LFB’s wider operational and strategic plan. To shape these forums, Kimi joined the Steering Committee which met throughout January.
The LFB are now looking for people to join their form to help shape the London Fire Brigade going forward. If you are interested please sign up here.
Hoarding Awareness Day! Camden & Islington
We were delighted to welcome locals affected by hoarding behaviour to our round table discussion, hosted by Camden & Islington NHS Trust. Our Trustee, Mandi Simms, gave a frank overview of her struggles and recovery, whilst PWHB and professionals were able to ask each other questions and consider support options. This event will be followed by a monthly support group in the Camden area, starting in April.
Space, Time, Stuff! Junk Journalling Masterclass
Our first crafting masterclass focused on “Junk Journalling” where our participants used items around their home to create a way of storing and presenting items of importance to them, plus thoughts, ideas & inspiration. THANK YOU to the brilliant participant who facilitated the class. We will be hosting further masterclasses throughout the year, details coming soon on our website.
