National Hoarding Conference
National Hoarding Conference 2019
Early Bird Tickets On Sale 1st January 2019!
After the massive success of the first UK National Hoarding Conference, our team decided that we wanted to spend 2019 expanding the dialogue and engaging in more localised discussions in order to drive our positive change agenda forward. We’ll be hosting three smaller conferences (Wales: July 2019, Scotland: October 2019 – TBC)
This year, we’ve decided that the panel, including people with hoarding behaviour and family members, will sit throughout the day, feeding into all discussions. To improve networking, we’re going to bring people from all areas together instead of breaking out into workshops. We, as last year, are limiting presentation time to allow more time for engaged, proactive conversations.
Our panel currently includes:
- Heather Matuozzo (Chair, HUK) – PARTNERSHIP WORKING
- Dr Satwant Singh (Clinical Director, HUK) – PSYCHOLOGY
- Julie Wilson (Trainer, HUK/Optivo Housing Manger) – HOUSING PROFESSIONALS
- Ellis Turner (Bristol University Lecturer) – ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
- Megan Karnes (Founder/Director, HUK) – USER INVOLVEMENT, LEGAL/ADVOCACY-TBC.
We have also offered discounted rates to ensure access.
- Our i-Count is for people on low income, benefits and students,
- Our OpenDoor is for waged attendees who are self-funding,
- Our Help@Hand membership is for professionals working within organisations who will fund membership/entry.
Membership supports our important work.
After Early Bird promotion there will only be two tiers of tickets (see below).

Thank you for an amazing conference day! So well attended, inspirational and a culmination of how far HUK has come led by you! Such good talks, comments and togetherness and a move and collaboration for continued action. Be very proud!
Again, congratulations on organizing such a professional conference. Now you have the template, hopefully, it will be easier to replicate in the future.
